Imagine eating delicious food every day while still hitting your weight loss goals…

If you answered “YES” to any of the above questions, then you need to bring pleasure back into your plate. Urgently.

Dear Foodie,

The more you abuse yourself with restrictive diets and deny yourself the pleasure from food, the further you’ll be from what you actually want: freedom around food and satisfaction with your body.

I know it sounds too good to be true but to lose weight one shouldn’t have to compromise on flavor, eat a low-calorie and boring diet or make one meal for themselves and one meal for their family.

In fact, after discovering the metabolic power of pleasure I urge you to do the complete opposite: to ditch the diet mindset, to ignore the adverts trying to sell you detox juices and low-calorie meals, and to feast on nutritious foods that will satisfy all your cravings instead.

As you will see firsthand in this book, pleasure is the secret ingredient that makes you thin and trying to lose weight by limiting pleasure is like trying to stop smoking by not breathing.

We can never increase our metabolism by limiting what is essential to life… more so perhaps than we could have ever imagined.

Hi, I’m Déborah Vitorino.

I’ve devoted my career to helping people heal their relationship with food, their bodies, their minds and their lives.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been guiding anxious minds and unhealthy bodies on a transformational journey towards experiencing dramatic weight loss, outstanding mental performance, and deep physical and emotional healing.

What I’ve uncovered after studying the relationship between our difficult life experiences and the manifestation of disease is a wide gap between the way Conventional Medicine treats us and what we actually need to do in order to live a happy, healthy and satisfying life.

Determined to revolutionize the way we take care of ourselves, I’ve combined the best of nutritional science and eating psychology with the principles of Functional Medicine and NLP-based Positive Psychology and created a holistic weight loss program that is changing lives, starting with my own.

My revolutionary method helped me heal my Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), break-free from bulimia and make peace with food, eliminate 15kg of stubborn fat and naturally carve out the body of my dreams (twice, actually; before and after my pregnancy).

The Gut Feeling Program® has also been tried and tested by hundreds of clients from more than 15 countries and has helped them shed up to 25 kilos of fat and tons of shame and guilt.

Every recipe tastes dangerously good.

Pleasure is a repertoire of delicious and nutritious recipes catered for foodies who want to lose weight while loving every bite they put in their mouths.

These recipes are powerful.

They’ve helped heal my Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), break-free from bulimia and make peace with food, eliminate 15kg of stubborn fat and naturally carve out the body of my dreams (twice actually; before and after my pregnancy).

You’re just a few meals away from a healthier and leaner body, too...

How is this possible?

Discover the metabolic power of pleasure!

Science has shown that the desire for pleasure is embedded in our DNA and causes us to seek out the feel-good sensation multiple times a day.

In the absence of pleasurable satiation – like when you start a restrictive diet – chemicals that increase our appetite will be released into the bloodstream.

The result is that we will be driven to eat more. We’ll start obsessively thinking about food, searching for something to fulfill that void, and if we don’t give our body what it wants we’ll never be truly satisfied. Nor free.

No matter how motivated you feel to stick to your diet, your brain will keep screaming at you “MORE FOOD!”, until it gets what it wants.

The only way out is to learn how to work with our body’s biological need for pleasure… and Pleasure is here to guide you on that delicious journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. Each recipe comes with step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow — even if you’re not good at cooking. Following along is really easy too because there aren’t that many steps in each recipe. Beginners can use it, as well as people who have more experience in the kitchen.

Yes! There are several *delicious* plant-based dishes in this cookbook.
Yes. Sometimes you may need to make substitutions in a recipe due to allergies or dietary restrictions, and that’s totally fine! I even recommend a few substitutions in case you don’t have an ingredient at home. However, it’s important to be aware that making substitutions can often change the flavor and texture of the dish.
As someone who loves to cook, my biggest issue with traditional cookbooks is that the recipes usually make four to six servings. As we have a small family, that means that I have to a) scale the recipes down, b) have half of my meal go to waste or c) have to eat the same dish at least four times in a week (thank you, but no). Hence, these recipes have been written for one to two people, however the portions are not skimpy.
One common cooking mistake that beginners make is not reading the recipe all the way through before starting to cook. This can lead to confusion about the steps involved or what ingredients are needed. So, please, always read the whole recipe before actually starting to cook.
